The basics
- Is FAIQ really free?
- Yes. Your FAIQ score, percentile, and confidence band appear the moment you finish — free, and yours to keep. The optional full report is a single €2.99 payment. There is no subscription, ever.
- How long does it take?
- About 20 minutes for the core battery. It's best taken in one quiet sitting, since there's no penalty for thinking and accuracy matters more than speed.
- Do I need an account?
- No. No sign-up and no email are required to take the test or see your score.
- Who is it for?
- Anyone curious about how their mind works. No background knowledge is needed — the test is culture-free and language-free, so it's fair regardless of schooling or first language.
Your score
- Is this a real IQ test?
- No, and we won't pretend it is. FAIQ is an honest, broad estimate of cognitive ability — IQ-style reasoning plus memory, logic, spatial thinking, and numerical intuition, so it goes further than a one-section IQ test. It is not a clinical or official IQ, and not a diagnosis.
- How accurate is it?
- Every score comes with a 95% confidence band, because no single number is exact. The norm is calibrated from real anonymized data and tightens as more people take the test; early scores are provisional and clearly labelled.
- What does my score mean?
- It's on the familiar scale where 100 is average and 15 is a standard deviation — so about two-thirds of people score 85–115, and ~130+ is roughly the top 2%. Often the shape of your profile across domains tells you more than the single number.
- Can I retake it?
- Yes. Because every item is generated fresh and never repeats, retaking measures genuine change rather than memory of the questions.
Trust & fairness
- Can people cheat?
- Practically not. Items are generated by code and never repeat, so there are no answers to look up or memorise — and we flag rushed, random-looking responses so they don't distort the norm.
- Is it biased by culture or language?
- It's designed not to be. There are no words, no trivia, and no maths facts — only patterns, shapes, and quantities that anyone can engage with.
Privacy & payment
- What do you do with my data?
- Responses are anonymized the instant they're recorded — no IP address, no account, no fingerprint — and used only to keep the norm accurate. It's GDPR-clean by design, for everyone.
- How much is the report, and can I get a refund?
- The full report is a one-time €2.99, shown before you start — no subscription. Because you get your FAIQ score for free first and can preview the entire report before paying, sales are final once you unlock it. The one exception: if you're charged but it doesn't unlock, contact us and we'll fix it or refund that.
- Will the paid score differ from my free score?
- Never. The report adds depth and detail — your per-domain profile, rarity, breakdown, and a certificate — but it never changes or inflates your number.
